# Lantern custom artwork permission

Permission is granted to redistribute the following six original custom PNG
files, unmodified, as part of Lantern in source or binary distributions,
provided this notice and attribution to Lantern contributors are retained:

- `Resources/LanternCustom-off@2x.png`
- `Resources/LanternCustom-off@3x.png`
- `Resources/LanternCustom-on@2x.png`
- `Resources/LanternCustom-on@3x.png`
- `Resources/LanternHeader-on@2x.png`
- `Resources/LanternHeader-on@3x.png`

This permission is separate from the MIT license for Lantern code. It does
not license the artwork under MIT or grant permission to redistribute it as
a standalone asset collection. No permission to modify the artwork is
granted by this notice.

This notice covers only the six original Lantern files listed above. It
does not cover Apple-owned assets, third-party artwork, reference images,
screenshots, design boards or other research materials.

The artwork is provided “as is”, without warranties. No endorsement by Apple
or any other third party is implied.

Approved Lantern presentation derivative: `assets/Lantern-public-on.png` and its identical `CydiaIcon.png` copy may also be redistributed unmodified as part of Lantern's repository, documentation or depiction with this attribution. These contain the exact accepted custom ON header, unchanged, with transparent square padding only; they contain no slider, controls or copied Apple UI/background. This permission does not license them under MIT.
